Letter from Rod Kendall [1947–?]

The newsletter made great reading and brought to mind several names from the past, either from School or the more recent past.

You were right about me playing for HOBA RUFC but it was only for two seasons, one before National Service, which would be 1954 and part of one afterwards when I broke my wrist playing Old Crossleyans. I had just joined the West Riding Police as it then was and was off sick for three months. So I never returned to active rugby.

I remember you and Graham from your visits to your Grandmother’s at Albert Gardens. I was a pal of Graham Mitchell’s whom you will no doubt still know.

Yours.
Rod Kendall
