Percy Crowther [Heath 1887–1889] lived in Shawford, not far from where I now live. I attach two photos. One is of his name on the Shawford war memorial and the other of the memorial itself which is at the top of Shawford Down and is visible from all sides. Thus Percy Crowther is commemorated at two different but striking memorials over 200 miles apart.
