Old Boys have a word for it

Past students of a Halifax school have helped its modern day equivalent achieve specialist status.

Crossley Heath School has recently been granted specialist school status as a language college.

To do so it was required to raise £50,000 when it submitted its application. Heath Old Boy’s Association, made up of past students from the former Heath School, has helped by giving the school £2,500.
