Ilkley Rugby Union Football Club — Schools Seven-a-Side Tournament Saturday, March 28th 1953

W.R. Swale reports in HOBA Bulletin 8 May 1953 that

[the Head Master and Sports Master of Hymer’s College] emerged from the refreshment hut at Ilkley and enquired of a senior Heathen for news of me. “I’m sorry, Sir,” came the reply, “ but the Head Master won’t be here until the final.”
